Transforming Road Network Understanding

NexusLRS was created based on a very simple problem, where am I at on the LRS? For years the default way of describing location at DOTs has been completely disconnected from the end-users of the the network, especially folks in the field. The process to get a measure in the field could take 10-20 minutes and may need several times in a day.

NexusLRS mobile allows for access to the road network in realtime anywhere.

NexusLRS Mobile In Action

  • Displays the users road and mile point location in realtime in a user friendly and accessible way

  • Dynamic straight line diagramming that is also updated in real time and configurable

  • Easy user input based features for searching roads and clicking on roads, and using the straight line diagram that the user can control themselves

  • Entirely offline - no cell network required after the initial download to use NexusLRS, even for the base map tile data. A truly end-to-end offline first solution.

Realtime Location Updates

The core feature behind NexusLRS mobile is it will follow you on the your LRS network as you move. The video on the left displays a 40 minute drive in rural and urban areas showing how consistent the measurement readings are.

Easily Interact with the Network

NexusLRS Mobile lets users interact with the LRS Road network by clicking on or searching for a specific route. A straight-line diagram then appears, supporting pinch-to-zoom and multi-touch panning left or right. Zooming in on the straight-line diagram zooms in on the entire map, and panning shifts it accordingly. This is a natural way of navigating a SLD on a mobile phone.
